About Corbridge Gardening Society
Growing together, sharing our passion for gardening
Corbridge Gardening Society is a friendly, sociable group dedicated to promoting, encouraging and enjoying all aspects of amateur gardening.
With over 180 members, we bring together gardeners of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are an experienced gardener or just starting out, there is something for everyone. Our members have a wide range of interests, from growing flowers and vegetables and exhibiting at shows, to visiting gardens, learning about horticulture and garden history, and enjoying talks from guest speakers.
We also encourage members to get involved in the running of the Society and to share their own knowledge, gardens and enthusiasm with others.
What We Do
Throughout the year, members can take part in a varied programme of activities and events, including:

🌸 Spring Show – an opportunity for members to exhibit their floral displays and celebrate their gardening achievements.

🌱 Annual Plant Sale – held each May, with a great selection of plants for your garden.
Saturday 23rd May, 10.00 am – Parish Hall -
🚌 Garden Day Trips – group visits to special and interesting gardens, sometimes travelling by coach.

🌿 Garden Tours – opportunities to explore gardens and horticultural highlights in different parts of the UK.

🎤 Winter Evening Talks – a series of talks in the Parish Hall covering a variety of gardening and horticultural topics. Times vary.

🏡 Members' Garden Visits – informal social visits to gardens hosted by Society members. Invitations are sent by email as and when visits are offered.
Membership
Membership is open to everyone living in Corbridge and the surrounding area.
Membership costs £10 per year and runs for 12 months from 1st January each year.
Whether you have a large garden, a small plot, a few pots or are simply interested in learning more about gardening, you are very welcome to join us.
